The new Epson EH-TW5700 is part of a new generation of Smart projectors featuring an inbuilt Chromecast for easy viewing of your favourite entertainment apps from your Android or iOS smart phone, tablet, iPhone, and iPad. It also comes with the new SMP or Streaming Media Player for stand alone wireless streaming from over 4,000 apps without the need for an external smart device. The TW5700 features a convenient inbuilt speaker for stand alone entertainment and the ability to output audio by cable or Bluetooth for big cinema sound.
The EH-TW5700 isn’t just clever it features both detail enhancement for a sharper more detailed image and frame interpolation increasing frame rate for a smoother image especially handy for fast motion. Amazingly it features an inexpensive replacement lamp ($119rrp) making it cheap to run long term.
